I contacted John to see if he had a rear shock and he did. So, I specifically asked him if the shock was blown or had any damage like that. He told me that it was in good working condition and wasn't blown. He sent me some pictures of the shock. Everything sounded and looked good, so I went ahead and bought it from him. His price and shipping was reasonable. Once I received the shock it was very obvious that the shock was damaged. The shaft was badly bent and the shock was blown. I could see the bend as soon as I pulled it out of the box. It was a very bad bend. So bad that the shaft would not even go into the shock body.
So I looked at the pictures again and realized that the angle he took the picture from hid the bent shaft. Also, the resolution of his pictures wasnt the best.
I contacted him right away and he told me to send the shock back to him and he would refund my money... The cost of shipping was more than the cost of the shock...lol nice... In the end he returned the money that I paid for the shock without having to return it. However, I am still out $40 on shipping and I still dont have a shock... LAME!
Also, if you seach Ebay for user jmellington04, you find he sells stuff there too. I have read some of the negative feedback he received and there were a handfull of people that never received their order.
