id do it strait up as a toy, Chevy 350, 1 ton axles, and a 12" lift on 38s. i can get a clean loaded cherokee round here for 1500-2000 with 100k miles on the il4.0

Yah I bought my 88' MJ for $900 with the lift, and the wheels and tires in the picture.
But the motor went in it the first month I had it, so I bought the 91' XJ for $1200.
I put the Dana 35, and the lift out of the front of the MJ in the XJ. I also swapped the rear ends to. (Toyota lift blocks on the rear)

It was a tuff little bitch.. If I was gonna do anything I would probably go GM dana 44 front, and a 12 bolt rear. But the stock axles aren't that bad for mild wheel'n.

who keeps stock rims anyway? i'd throw a 6 inch long arm lift under it and set it on a set of 18inch rockstars wrapped in 35's and beat the **** out of that **** green!

neh i 4wheel... hard and have welders so i can put **** back together lol. replace what breaks with upgraded parts and wont be long before ya have a capable vehicle under ya

The 2.8 is either liked, or hated. Me personally, I've never had a problem with them. Seen many go over 200k. They have the typical 60* v6 intake gasket issues, but they are not that bad. Like I said, the 3.4 rear wheel drive v6 from the 93-95 camaro is a direct bolt in, and gives you fuel injection if you choose to have it. And those engines last. You can put a 4bbl 390cfm holley on it with an edel intake, or you can put a 2.8 tbi on it with the 4.3 v6 injectors and run it.

Btw, I know what that subaru can do with mods, but it will not beat a corvette. Older corvette, proabably. But, not a z06, and certainly not a new zr1. The z06 will go 0-60 in 1st gear, and in 3.2 seconds I believe.

the r8 is wayyyy faster than a corvette so this should tell you somthing (this is what my subie will be able to do)

yep runnin on rice. a r8 may be faster than a STOCK vette but run your subie against a built ZR1 vette. stock they put out 638hp a good cam and heads and exhaust and they build 800hp easy. stock they do 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and thats badass for a rwd

im talkin beating stock ones come on! and that subie was running 300 at wheel hp, it just has a dog box trannie! thats with just a couple upgrades.

no it just beat an audi r8, which is faster than a zr1.

Not hard to do. The audi probably had some drivability issue that popped up under heavy throttle, which caused the MIL light to come on, and a reduced power mod to kick in. lol
