Well I have owned those exact Protaper tridensitys actually 2 pair and I will say they are long lasting grips, They feel real hard if you prefer that in a grip, I switched because of the so called ODI hype, I love Spider Grips really popular among XC and MX. Have you seen the Spider grips with yellow ends and black middles?

I have these on my girls atc110 in bright pink and there actully nice and soft. Atv grips in yellow are slim pickens unless its a dirt bike grip.
