thanks. I put the exhaust on last and only had to change the silencer mounts, so I changed them to use my left over 250r rubber mounts. I then cut a little off my airbox hose and the intake assembly fit. My front tire is a lot closer to the expansion chamber now, and I've lightly on talk of using 400ex arms. what does this accomplish. I need width, to space me from pipe. I have faded blue plastics that im gonna polish, and may be getting white fronts. what color frame should I go with?

thanks guys

by the mathius you got any up to date pics or vids? who did your engine work, so many choices these days. Im also considering making my own neerfs to match my custom pegs

pre design of pegs, they are finished get pics when I can

Not so fast to judge the finished product has tubing brace on bottom. One my friends that is quite large has jumped repeatedly with no signs of fatigue

i would be more worried about them bending..

your not just working with 2-300 lbs at a time, in a hard landing there can be up to 6-700 lbs of force on those things, not to mention that you can ben the factory ones which are extremely stout pegs.

i weigh 150 and the way they are braced I don't think they will. I've built a couple similar sets for my old z400 and lt250r, jumped those quads with stock suspensions and never had problems. thats .25" c channel with bracing. The factory bend prolly cuz Yamaha put the peg so high on the mounting plate, which ya seen tons of raptors bend there. Its trail quad I doubt ill be launching this thing on the track track but I Guess i'll find out. ill get better pick of pegs this weekend. found the a arm right up. Looking to purchase +2 +1 full flights from 250r.net member. also anyone got any input on tusk extend hubs, but by that point you could buy g-force axle I spose.

I haven't done much work to my quad over the summer. I was really busy, and in the middle of a nasty breakup with my "ex" wife...
But sorry I have no pics, or video.
I built the motor myself, and had a local machine shop do all the machining for me.

Been in the process of settling in on new job, buying a house and property, which includes 32x40 garage, and getting married next Friday. Lots of things to do including going thru my 250r for mx, flat decking my x2 jet ski, and finishing my warrior hybrid, not to mention moving in, setting the shop up, and building that mx track out back :). Most the frame work is done, and when im settled its time to tear down and do finishing welds, and rebuild motor. The vibration never really was satisfactory but I do know motor is need of being rebuilt bad. ill post pics and progress when I can. would white frame look good with blue plastics? any other ideas
