660 head

I took this and copied it off of bluetraxx, anyone ever heard of it?

I'm looking to rebuild my Warrior head pretty soon because it likes to smoke a little bit now and it's not quite as fast as my 96 Warrior. I heard a rumor that you could replace a Warrior head with a EARLY Grizzly 660 head. The bolts apperently line right up and everything. Sounds pretty far out but the guy swears he seen a rider with this done. Have you guys ever seen this or heard of anyone doing this?

I've got a 660 head in the shop,I'll dig it out and compare it to a warrior head.

Mine is a newer head,no comparison.Bore is half an inch bigger,bolt pattern not even close.

it wouldn't cool itself either so you gotta think about that. no air fins.

good points!! and if it sealed up compression would be way down due to the larger combustion chamber.

First 660 Grizz that I found listed is an 02, head looks the same as mine, 08 I think.

I looked up a 2000 600 head ,it at least looks similar.
