87 stator case fit 97?

so i noticed a crack on my case after replacing the stator, found one on ebay that is off an 87 will it fit 97? also thinking about trying to braze it with alumiweld rods or finding someone to weld it for me

Yes those covers were all the same. I think I have one in a box too.

lol i literally just bough one on ebay , it was 48 bucks and in rough shape lol ugh. perfect example of my **** luck right here i bet you have a nice one too, you know what i dont even wanna know.

aslo ,how hard is it to hammer/pullout the bearings from the case? while i have it apart this time i might have the outer cases sent off for powder coating,

I actually just sent one to Josh Baker for a cool bronze powdercoat. He did all of that for me.

Josh took bearings out when I sent my side cases too him I'm making a guess and day he would probably take care of them but just hit him up
