89 cdi

Hey guys i picked up a clean 89 warrior for free. i was told it didnt run but it turned over fine. so i changed fuses and coil still nothing so my last resort is a cdi. So if anyone has a reasonably priced 89 cdi im definitly interested. Thanks

have you ohm'ed the stator pickup coil and source coil? 9 times out of 10 the stator is the problem not the cdi

Stator ohm specs for 89 model year

charging coil resistance 3 white wires .70 - .86 ohm's

pick up coil resistance yellow to green, yellow to blue 170 - 209 ohm's

source coil resistance white/green to red 270 - 330 ohm's
