When i Rev up my engine and let off i get a little backfire. Does that mean im running too lean? How far should the air fuel screw be turned out?
Thanks
Justin

Could be lean or rich, an extreme condition either way can cause backfiring.

Stock position for the fuel screw is 2-1/4 or 2-1/2 turns out. (it's not an air screw on 4 strokes, the further out it's turned, the more fuel it will deliver)

Ok ill check that out Thanks!! One more thing when you say 2 1/4 turns is that a full 360 degree turn? Or is it just 180 degree. Im sorry i know its such a noob question.

it should be 360 degrees for one turn. does it backfire when your just in neutral and rev it? or is it only when your riding it?
