Hey guys, I was just curious who here has an Aftermarket Airbox & which one? I checked out the CFM mainly b/c I was looking into one for a Blasty & the one they make for the Warrior looks very nice. They claim a hefty 6hp gain but I highly doubt that. Just curious what some of your results with these are & what other mods you have with it. It's not horribly overpriced in my opinion.

i run the UM air box with the warrior it made a probbable 2-3hp gain with a fully built motor it helps it breath alot! requires more frequent filter cleaning the the stock box with oem filter

I noticed that UM still makes one for the Raptor 350, any reason it wouldn't fit? Man, I was afraid that 0 hp gain would be the issue with the CFM. What a shame, good lookin piece.

I actually talked to The guy who builds the, for UM and he said the raptor one would fit but would need mounts fabbed up and welded to the frame like the raptor has.

I just got the CFM box after I traded my UM to 87.

The CFM is built great. Has a drain hole stock and comes with a "open" cover. I have yet to put it on and test it out yet thou, I need to get a filter for it. Quality of the actual product is outstanding thou.

The UM box used a massive filter, but as 87 said, I guess they no longer make them.

@87, did you get that lining off the box yet? Have it lookin good?

Weston, what's your opinion on the CFM by lookin at it man?

its better then stock thats for sure but im bias to the um it just seems like it will flow better having a bigger filter with more area so less restriction i thing the cfm uses the oem filter but i dont remember i really like my um but thats just me it feeds my 38mm mukuni much better then the oem thats for sure but it seems like the box mount tabs were put on screwy because it set to high and hit the seat but i imagine that could be a easy fix

^ sure ill send em in the morning and i do because i know the UM flows better then oem and everyone i know that uses the cfm says its just a oem replacement but i havent used it before but i had to rejet after i put the UM box on mine

Wow, sometimes the simplest things are the hardest to find. I'd love to see a direct comparison of the 2 boxes just to see what's different. I hate not knowing.

I have a CFM on my 700, wish it would got a warrior because I'd sell it in a heartbeat...

The front mounts are completly diff. They have them on ebay to compare

Man, I thought about that 87, but to be honest I'm not familiar with what the Raptor 350 box looks like so I wouldn't know I was looking at it if I were. So many sellers just post up generic pics ya know. I'd have to know for sure that it was a Rappy box. Can somebody post up pics of the Raptor 350 box that they know for sure is a Raptor box?
I'm also still waiting on Duner to send me his pics but those new parts have him tied up, lol! ;)
