well i am saving to buy an edelbrock carb because i am fed up with the stocker. i did a lot of research and i found its the easiest to tune of carbs and gives more power throughout the entire powerband than a stocker will. so i think im going that route.

however, i want to upgrade my airbox and filter setup too. what would be the best way to go? i am looking at buying the UM aluminum air box with the cover and a clamp on k&n. would this be a very good system to go with? will the airbox work with a banshee rear shock? i need a airbox for the riding that i do. does the stock airbox boot work for this airbox and carb? i want to do the edelbrock carb and intake at the same time. any input would be greatly appreciated.

The Pro-design setup is definitely the way to go, whether you prefer a foam filter or k&n. Don't try to save a few bucks and buy one of the ModQuad kits, I tried to go that route and the kit sucked. Wasn't even close to being able to work. I would have needed to cut out half of the airbox for the filter to fit, so I ended up ditching the filter that came with it, and bought the same k&n filter that the pro-design kit used. The flange on it is at an angle so it fits in the airbox, the one that came with the kit was a straight flange so it was way off.
