Contemplating making and selling some air scoops like I made for mine. Not 100% sure on price, but as usual I will keep it as cheap as possible. They would just be bolt on, painting is possible, would just depend in the end. Heres a pic of the ones I did for mine. Also mine are made from a recycled metal shelving unit and the ones Id make would be new metal.

Not 100% sure yet, its kinda like duneracerwestons case savers. The more interested, the cheaper they will be. I know if the interest is there I can get a big sheet at the local steel place for less a square foot than just picking up smaller pieces to do a couple. Thats why Im checking interest yet. Ideally Id like to be around what deadlasts brother was selling them for back when he was on here, which if memory serves me right was around $40 somewhere. But like I siad that could go either way depend on the amount of people interested. Also could come down to the metal used.

Hey there 1998Yamahawarrior I've just recently bought a 05raptor350 and after the 5th riding session where I had the confidence to really open it up it was running real hot (gears poping out of place??) and was hoping to buy a set of those air scoops that you are fabricating...but I live in Australia would shipping costs be worth more than the product?? Lol

Looks like using USPS Flat rate boxes it would cost about $45.50 to ship to Australia. Elwood is right though an oil cooler would help a bunch also.

I've seen that thread about the oilcooler setup but just put off it.. Looks tricky to install...

But would be great just to have a crack at installing them....got plenty of info/help here if I get stuck =D

What Elwood was saying is I also mod clutch covers so all you have to do is pick a cooler and lines up from your local parts store, install the modded cover and hook it up.

Sweet!! That would be awesome when ever you have the price ready I'll get payment ready :). Thnk you

Well got some pricing down for anyone interested and it looks like I can do them for $50 painted and shipped, All new metal. Obviously subject to change if you would like a different metal or I have to change where I get the metal from.
