anger managment ..

So I have been on the forum for a while mostly reading learning and getting ideas .

I have been slowly working on my warrior so I figured I would start a build thread so people could see what im doing and help me along in the right direction ..

well here goes ..

Its a 1987 gen 1 warrior that i found fer 250 bucks .. Heres what it looked like the day I got it .

the bike was beat but thats to be expected for the price .. so I tore the motor down to find some broken parts .. witch were fixed or replaced.

I figured since it was down that far i should take it down completely and blast it and paint it .. so thats what i did next..


Stock frame

blasted frame

Primed frame

and after five coats of black primer and 5 coats of gloss black heres how it sits now

I have ordered all new bushings and bearings for it and while im waiting on them im going to blast and paint the rest of the frame and suspension components.

Looks good dude! I'd do a better cut on the front fenders though

the truck is a 91 ranger 2wd .. its droped 4 inches i shaved the drip rails, cowl and all badging ..working on getting rid of some other things as well custom interior 5.0/aod swap .. and so on and so on .... lol

well I got a chance to get out to the shop fer a bit tonight.

started blasting the stuff that will fit into my blast booth ...

started working on the front end tonight .. got the A arms taken apart and blasted ..

heres a before and after.

then I threw a couple of coats of paint on ..

I started puting some of the bike back together ..

Starting to get itchy to ride this bike .. hope my parts show up so I can finish puting it back together and ride..

Looks like what is a snowmobile rear shock. Of what make/model, no clue.
