my wifes little brother just got his first quad but it runs like crap!

its supposed to have a stroker crank in it but i dont know.

it does have a kn and fmf exhaust. my problem is the jetting is

way off and i cant remember what the stock sizes were to start

from. it has a 30 pilot and a 157 main but the plug is very black

and it gags alot i know the pilot is small but the main shouldnt be

to far off. thanks for any help

145 main....i think .. it pretty close to stock

42.5 is close to stock cant remember

im runnin a 47.5 and 150

with k&n and pipe

yea i cant believe he had a 30 pilot in it and whats worse is he told me he had the carb "dyno tuned"

30 pilot? That's tiny. Is it a Dyno Pilot? Have you checked for yourself?

yea i tore it apart its a 30. it seems that all bike shops are closed on mondays around here but we managed to find a 45 pilot and a 155 main. much more responsive but maybe a little rich in the pilot. ill have to tune around on it this weekend

Just off topic a bit(didnt want to start a new thread for this question)

The warrior's been sittin a while and i dont feel like cleaning the carb. can i use the crap you mix with fuel instead? It shouldnt be that bad. I'm just trying to save an hour.

mine just sat from the end of july last year til last weekend and she hasnt missed a beat. that stuff wont really do anything in our carbs. id say fire it up see how she runs and go from there.

ok what jets should i get i think i have stock in there and for a week i was forced to run without a baffle in the exhaust and now i put on a dg krome power exhaust what jets should i put in
