backfireing or like a cackle

when ever i give my bike a shot of gas quickly i get like a backfire or it wants to stall.and it idles fine.what could be the issue.the bike has a cherry bomb on it.from the owner before me.

I would think that cherry bomb is pretty free flowing compared to whats supposed to be on it. You might not have enough back pressure.

thats wat i thought.i was just getting some opinions on it.i wasent sure if i needed a carb kit or not.i noticed some gas on the top of my motor.it might be coming from my float bowl gasket not to sure.
