i saw some used cranks on ebay but i feel like thats a gamble. i was geting good size flake in my filter i little bigger than the tip of a pen

It hasn't locked up yet right? if not you should be able to just have yours rebuilt just find a shop that will do it and do a good job

no its not locked up still runs just doesnt want to idle the more i rode it the more i had to turn the idle up i just want to take care of it now before it cost me more than i need to spend

Then you shouldn't have a prob getting the crank rebuilt but the idle issue means you might have damaged the cylinder walls and piston

The rebuild is the better way to do it. I just sugested the used route to keep down time to a min.

posably i was thinking it could be if the bearing was that bad it could be affecting the stroke of the piston but ill find out tom
