So heres my problem...I am trying to replace my swing arm bearings and I got everything taken apart. One of the bearings came out super easy, the other one not so much...the outer shell of the bearing is like fused to the carrier. there is no lip to get any type of tool on it to pound it out and I cant get the other bearing in. I tried sand paper, a drill, sockets, chisels and punches (just to name a few). Im stuck does anyone have any suggestions, I'm trying to get it all done b4 this weekend but at the pace I'm going now its not gonna happen ??? ??? ???

I had the same thing, but mine was worn so bad it was almost paper thin. All I had to do was tap a small flat screwdriver between the bearing casing and the swingarm tube, then pry it so it got all bent up and caved in on itself and fell right out.

The next thing I would try in your situation is to get a good metal grinding bit on a dremel and cut a slot across one side of it to loosen it, then it should come right out.

Mine wore paper thin to. What i did was just get it to cave in on its self enought to get a bar to catch on it and beat it out. A nother great method is turn your welder down super low and weld a bead on it so the bar will catch on it.
