Ok so i was out ridin with my friend and we were going through some pretty deep water the water was over the front tires on my warrior. so i was going and all the sudden it started slowing down and came to a stop out in the water. wat i did was for about 5 minutes i didnt let completly out of the clutch because it was just to fast. so i towed it back to the shop and now all the gears are just like neutral they do nothing just rev up just like neutral. so wahat is wrong what should i do? Thanks

see thats what i was wondering but i looked at the dipstick and it had good clean oil on it i think

ya does any body know how hard it is to rebuild the clutch or how much a new one cost

yea ,i'd say "DRAIN THAT OIL".if the water was over your tires then you probably got it in the case.as for rebuilding,no.just get a new clutch kit and see how that works.dont forget to change the oil filter too.if it were me ,i'd leave the drain plug out for at least a day or two,to make sure it drains all the way.

ya good idea^ But i just took the clutch all apart and WOW it REALLY needs a clutch kit little pieces of the soft metal all in side the transmission its a bad deal but i hope its worth it when i get all the parts and get her back 2gether

What is the difference in the clutch springs that are stock and "heavy duty" clutch springs? are the heavy duty springs easier to pull or what?

Your not supposed to hold the clutch in slightly while moving.... you burned the clutch.....

You can get a clutch kit just about anywhere from dealers to ebay to wherever... just buy a good one like EBC, Barnett, DP or stock

Never ride the clutch like that, it's the worst possible thing you can ever do for it. If you want to go slower let off the throttle, or if it's geared too high to go slow enough in 1st, accelerate in bursts, pull in the clutch all the way and coast for a bit till you slow down, then get back on it.

If you completely shredded it and there's bits all over you'll need to flush the oil out a few times until you aren't getting any more pieces in the strainer and oil filter. All those bits can destroy the engine, they'll get into bearings and eat them up, and they can clog the strainer and filter, which will slow or completely cut off oil flow.

Heavy duty clutch springs are mostly for modified engines that are putting out more than a stock clutch was designed for, and because the springs are stiffer, the clutch pull is noticeably stiffer.

You can buy a clutch kit a million places. Just don't cheap out and buy a Tusk clutch or a no-name brand.

well i got a clutch kit and put it all together and its running just like before Thanks guys!
