bike will not start sometimes

have a 2002 warrior. most of the time it fires right up but then there are times where i hit the button to start it and it will not do a damn thing. It has a brand new battery in. Key is on and so is the kill switch and it still wont do anything. Its like the kill switch is off but its not. please help need to fix this problem

my guess is a the pickup coil on the stator. When your bike does not start, ohm it out.

You might unhook the kill switch, and ohm it to verify your don't have a bad contact. If you do, try cleaning contacts, and put the di-electric grease on the contacts.
