People like the 400 bc it has the simplest exhaust exit to work with, it's dead center like the 200, My 465 exits from the side of the jug. It's a Lil more work. I think the lower front mount is different on the 465, the other 2 are direct.

Thats why I'm looking at swapping on a 2nd gen 490 jug/head.
Not only is it a center exhaust. But it has a 7 bolt head, and a 6 bolt reed cage. A larger intake, better port design, and the reeds are bigger, with 2 extra peddles. The head is also a better design....
Now that I think about it, the 2nd gen 490 was way better.. lmao

85' to 90'. 91' to 93' was the WR500, which was just a rebadged YZ490.

The 490's after 87' had a way beefier port design, and really hauled ass!!
