acctualy wrrior girl your wrong i have the ttb or twin i beam front suspension its a 351w year 1996

in the case of just getting enough clearance then bl's are fine. if this is an offroad vehicle then go with suspension. my opinion is do it and run 35's and keep it mall rated! haha

80-96 4x4 F250's are Twin-Traction Beam (TTB), basically the 4x4 version of Ford's Twin I-Beam setup, with front leaf springs. F150's of the same years are TTB and coil sprung in the front, and the F350's came with a solid front axle and leafs.

If you're just looking to gain clearance for your tires, a body lift would be fine. See if you can find one with the brackets to lift the bumpers as well, and it wont look goofy with gaps between the bumpers and body. Just don't just use hockey pucks :)

Yep sure are twin I beam. And they SUCK! I can't tell you how many balljoints and bushings I have to replace on them and solid axle fords. Not to mention, getting the bushings out for the camber/caster, is almost always a MOTHERF****R! Don't mean to bash, but, they are not the best design. Like all mfgs, good concept, poor execution.

i just HATE being able to see the frame under the body... and whats worse than that is seeing a huge gap in between the bed and frame that you can see through the rear fender well

hey no body was sapose to know about my lifted barbie jeep! lol nah my f250 i got a set of free 35's and i can fit 33's under it stock as is i just need a little lift so i was thinkin a 2in body since its mostly a road truck with just a little bit of play time

Depending on the year you can tuck 35s with just a leveling kit and some minor trimming to the plastic fender wells

I'm about to put a body lift on the Xterra this weekend. Dang torsion bars only letting me do a 3 inch suspension lift.

Or I should just man up and do a D44 solid axle swap up front :)

I will eventually, it's just a 2000 dollar adventure I am not ready for yet.

One day mine will be able to finally flex like this up front
