well i'm not sure if there is a thread about this yet...
But i just bought some boots from a friend of mine , n i was riding my warrior. i know people have told me i have to get used to the boots . But it seems like i cannot shift gears that well. I had to take part of the netting off my nerfs for the boot to fit under the shifter. it barely fits n i have to keep my foot at a pointed angle just so the boot doesn't shift for me. What do i do mess with my shifter or something else? Help..

Do you have a stock shifter or a direct shifter? A direct all you would have to do is adjust it up some. Stock shifter there is really not much other than heating it and bending it up, which i probably wouldn't suggest truthfully

I'm same way. No matter how I adjust my direct shifter I hate um. I just ride with steal toe boots most of the time

On the stock shifter you turn the linkage, but you can only turn it so far before it becomes unthreaded. Since I dont have one anymore though I cant tell you how far that is.

As for the direct shifter, one for a yz250 is good for medium size feet. Ive got big feet and Im running a custom bent(because of my pull start) banshee shifter.

well these boots are pretty big. thats the problems not having space. i have to keep my feet pointed down then it will shift

I wear size 16 if thats any indication, I can take a actual measurement of my steel toed boots since thats what I wear when I ride. Then you could compare it to the length of your riding boots.

Well , i normally wear 11 , but these boots are fox comps s size 12 boots. If that helps anything. the toe part is what im having issues with. Its too big and it wont barely fit and i cant shift fast or get my foot out hardly to down shift

that will be higher than the stock one? I wanna sit conformy when im riding not point my toes down to have to shift

Pretty sure it's an adjustable mount? (You can bolt it on at your preference). Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I have that exact one on my quad, and although I wear some heavy boots, (not riding boots) I'm able to shift better than the stock one. I don't have it set at any other place than where the stock one was.

It's splined and can b turned to your preference before u put the bolt in. I have the yz450 shifter and put it as high as I could without hitting the stator cover bolt and my giant steel toes fit just barely. Gonna switch to non steel toe boots
