Nope. Don't have a 12:1 to go by. All I would need is the height measurement. Using that crank with the 400 cylinder, you'd have to come up with a way to make up 3mm difference. That's only .120". Now... if 357 had an .080" spacer made, and is running without base gaskets, I can only assume he went for zero deck height. If that's the case, then the 12:1 is around .080" taller than stock (idk what the deck height is for a 366). So there is 2mm down, 1 to go. The average base gasket thickness is .020". Take that out and I'd have .020" deck height, all this is hypothetical because I don't have any/all the measurements I need. Atleast nowing the stock and 12:1 deck heights would help me figure out the piston height differnce.

You lost me at the .080 spacer, and zero deck height.. lol

I think it would be a bit taller than that, but we'll never know till it's been measured?

well finally got my motor back together i have the 4mm stroker crank and went and had a jug spacer made to 80 thousandths with no gaskets blue silicone and bought the 85mm je piston 12:1 comp with cometic head gasket and it runs nice

I'd like to know a lil more about this. How'd the timing chain work out? Wish we had pics of it going together. Who made up the spacer for ya?

The original timing chain works just fine no complications. The spacer I got made at dick rughs in uniontown and just had himm trace and cut out a base gasket out of aluminum.

So what did your deck height turn out to be at? How far down from the top of the cylinder was your piston at TDC? I have a 10.5:1 stroker piston, but 388 is what I'd really like to get.
