bottom case question

just put together the case and i dont know if there is anything important to do to install the shift shaft, do i just slid it in, or do i need to put bike i newtral,i tried and i cant seem to find all gears also i dont know the shift pattern, the bike is new to me

im not completely sure of the installation process but try turning the sprocket to get the rest of the gears... it is 1 down 5 up... as in 1 N 2 3 4 5 6
