cam chain slider

The guy before me broke the cam chain slide mount off for the opposite side of the tensioner so the cam chain is lose. Should I run it til it breaks or fix it before it goes

you sure it did not pop out? did you pull off the flywheel to check?

Im postive yes I check. the whole mount for it is snaped off

I wouldn't let it completely fail man. I fear that if the chain gets really loose something could potentially break nasty in there, it's not worth the risk, that's my opinion.

When I do fix it its getting new crank,piston,cams, and head work.
