I finally got around to taking apart a used motor from a parts warrior I got about a year ago. When I took the cam out it had some numbers on it 252 X 1 MD anybody know what it means. It`s definitely not a stock cam when I put it next to a stock one its noticeably different. And the head is ported and polished already. When I redo my top end I`m using the head for sure.

it's a megacycle cam. supposed to be great cams. do yourself a favor and torque that cam bolt good. i ruined my 252x1 the other day during my rebuild.

Thanks guys for the quick response I guess that trashed warrior i got for parts had some work done to it.

I don`t think I`m gonna use it in mine. I`m a cruiser and a sight seer not a speed demon. But I got 5 other warriors I maintain and one guy is talking about some upgrades maybe he`ll want it.

For a cruiser I would think you want some bottom end so some of the torque is there to help keep you rolling at low speed.
