A machine shop... it cost me $50 to get my cylinder bored and honed, it's not that expensive

damn, thats cheap. i got my whole motor build (piston, cam, exhaust) full set of tires, fixed one-way bearing, plus misc. parts, labor, machining, etc. for about $1700. minus about $260 on exhaust, $300 on tires, ~$120 for cam, and other stuff 1700-680=~$1020. also minus twist throttle, grips, and dyno tuning, it would put you under $1000 at an atv shop. machine shop sounds good though for that price. good luck on the piston and let us know if you get it done

most places will charge about that much for a bore and hone, anywhere that charges much more than that is ripping you off, because there's really not that much involved with a simple bore and hone like this.

Yea, You dont need to take it to a shop to put the piston and cam in, you should be able to do that stuff your self or get a buddy that knows what hes doing to help you. Just pick up a clymer manual for like $20 its worth it.

yammy350 rider, jw u brought up the manual, have you guys ever seen a Haynes manual? I have one a banshee and warrior atv's Haynes Workshop manual... Is this good enough to have to take my engine apart?

you might want to search around my dad posted a long time ago a link to download the warrior/rappy 350 service manual (what the dealers use when you bring a bike for them to fix)

The links dont work anymore, i tired. But Im not sure about the Haynes Manyal. Everyone told me that the Cylmer manuals were great so a guy was parting his wheeler and i picked up the manual for like $10 but they are like $25 or something new.
