i have one of them lol i just want a cam with a screen to see what i doing lol but thanks

Youre on the right track, I'd stick with Nikon or Canon. Those are nice, I've been looking at a camera for my mom and the Nikon L310 looks pretty good. Target has it on sale for only $99 right now too. I think normally it's around $160-$180. Check it out.

nice cam but i think it to big for her to want to Carrier

Yea it looks bug, but its actually really small... in one of the reviews on Youtube, the guy was complaining that its too small for his hands. lmao

But yea either way, stick with Nikon or Canon.

I have a little Nikon 12 megapixel coolpix.
Its a good little camera, and has a fairly big screen. It was cheap to..
I think I paid $80 bucks for it on sale at walmart.

i like canon myself but hey for my photography i use a 20ish year old minolta 35mm film camera! lol nothing like high quality film for photos! and i like black and white film better than black and white effect on digital. i have about $600 worth of lenses for the damn thing haha

I'm not tmuch into camers or pictures. Other then what can be posted on here, I think it a waste of time. But... I'm with wargirl, something about film is awesome. Kinda like LP's, I love records.

I've got a Nikon coolpix s4000 I'm not using any more. I think it's 12mp touchscreen. I still have the original box. I nought it for work in S Korea. If I remember right I gave $300 for it.
I'd sell it for $75 if your interested?

I have a Fuji XP 10 that's waterproof, shockproof and it takes decent pics too. I wouldn't put much thought into the number of MP's. You can enlarge a 5mp photo to 12x18 and it will be very clear. If you have a 14 or 16mp they just use up more card space and space on your hard drive.

I have a stack of cameras. Cannon 20D, 30D, 60D SLRs and 3 grand (70-200 2.8, 18-55...)in lenses. I have a business shooting aerial photography from my airplane. This summer I shot 13,000 aerial photos this past summer. I have 3 little cameras I use for fun If I take one with me on the boat or quad it's always the waterproof one. If you are the type of person that likes playing in the mud sand or water get a camera that can take the punishment.

I have an 80's vintage Minolta SLR. A bud of mine that is into photography said some of the older Minolta lenses are compatible with his DSLR. I forget what brand but I contemplated looking into it since I have several lenses for mine as well.
