Right behind you!
K well here the scenario, im working on rebuilding my engine and time is not a factor because i have my backup in the warrior at the time. Well i plan on doing some work to it. I want to bore it over .20 and get a wisco high compression piston. I also wanted to get a cam.

The problem is that im looking for acceleration more then speed and i cant find any other cams then hotcams that are for torque and i herd hotcams are a joke. Also when i get a cam what else do i need to get to get the top performace out of it, valve springs or somthing.?

A cam a piston are the only 2 things i plan on doing to the engine so dont go over board on me guys im not a bank.

Thanks everybody

Powroll's mid-range cam, I don't know why they call it that.. It's more for top end.. It's actually made by Megacycle and it's there race cam. The 252x-1, 276 duation.
Powroll has a torque grind and that's made by Web(they call it there all around cam). It is by spec's one of the best all around cams made for are bikes. Give you more low end grunt. I'd recomend to you as well a JE piston with a little higher compression. That would help give you more torque.
The Hotcams suck for a couple of reasons. They use a wider lobe seperation and there ramps are not as agressive as Megacycle or Web performance cams because they use the stock valve spring. Which allow valve float on the stock cam. Not only that but they ****** alot of people over with the whole raptor and warrior have the same top end. Which they don't.

So what should i be looking for for torque when i look at cams, i see these numbers and i dont no what they meen. Also im kinda on a budget because i dont have a job untill the golf corses around here open back up. So ill find some stuff on ebay and ill show u guys and you tell me good or not.

k nvm there is nothing on there except hot cams but that looks like the only thing i can offord at the time so what should i do.

Does anybody have an old cam there going to sell thats aftermarket?

Dave, look at Powroll's spec sheet. It's got the same valve timing events as the MegaCycle's 252x1 276 duration cam. Plus, Pam from Powroll told me that is what they use for there mid-range cam (252x1). I'm not sure why they claim less lift. I should call them and ask.

Your not going to be getting max power out of the cam and piston if you get a hotcam. Go to www.magicracing.com and look at the web cams you will also need to use kibblewhite valve springs. You'll be much happier if you dont cheap out and get the best plus you said time is not a factor so get the webcam.

Oh and an even better place would be from deathshadow, I can almost guarantee you that you wont find it any cheaper, pm him or email him about the prices.

Yeah Jay I did see that but they don't post the duration specs. If you do call let me know what they say. It is kinda odd that one site claims more lift. I might actually go for the Web race cam.

Jasonp I just relized that was you who posted all the info on the cams on bluetraxx. Yeah that powroll race cam has 287 288 duration @.40 lift thats pretty impressive. So teamexileracing that midrange cam would work good for what you looking for.

http://www.wallaceracing.com/camcalc.php There you go Dave! Just type in the spec's from Powroll site and there you go! They list all the cams for the warrior. I don't know who makes Powroll's "race" cam. I believe it is MegaCycle because they use .040" lift for there spec's. where as Web uses .050".
I'll have to call them.
http://www.geocities.com/kiwi_craig/GRAPH.htm Also look here... Your not going to gain much lifting past .430". So unless you have your head ported it's just harder on the valve train.
Web has a there "race" cam that is in between there all around .390 and Megacycle's 252-X1. Good for if you want a little more top-end but not all out. Megacycle has there "mid-range" cam that I would say would be good for all out torque and bottom end power. Good for wolverines. It has less duration and overlap then the Web .390" but a little more lift.

I'll post some spec's tonight for over lap and lobe seperation of all the cams that I have found for the warrior.

One of my friends dads friends it willing to sell me a new web cam race cam with the springs you were talking about earlyer. He said there both use and good. And he said he will sell me both for 150. Should i do it? Where will this give me power, lower or top end? Or both?
