Red loc tie is going to get her done. It will really be a bitch to remove but then you know the bolt is not going no where. It's really up to you.
Also I was thinking about the stock collars again and man, I wouldn't use the stock ones. Just because not only is it preloading the spring correctly but it's also putting the correct tension on the valves.

Can i order aftermarket ones? just the lowers becuase the guy i bought it off of doesnt even know what a collar is and im trying to explain it and he doesnt no if he lost them or put them back in the engine with the stock cam.

K well this is what the guy said should i just use the stock lower collors then?

"Your killing me (no not really) I want to help you but Im caught in the middle. This reminds me of a yamaha dealer mechanic making me jump through hoops because I didnt buy the parts from him. You have all the parts that came with that kit..ALL. Please call me if needed and I could email you their website if needed. The core charge alone on the cam is $100.00 The titanium springs alone are a $100 upgrade. I understand that you aare relying on someone else to give you advice but you are being given bad advice. I have worked on and ridden for almost thirty years. The valve stem guides were not even used they are new. Please call so we can work this out. What part number does he want so I can look it up."

Well i was looking at the pic someone posted with the upper and lower callors in this thread and i saw that the upper collors i have are much bigger and my stock lower callors are smaller then the ones in the pic. What i think is that the springs and callors i got are mad so you can use the stock lower ones does anybody think this is possible? Because ill take a pic again from the side and post it but my uppers look way thicker then the uppers in that pic.

The retainers def don't look stock so I'll assume the springs aren't stock, I would just take his word for it and call Kibblewhite and see what they say. If they say you need the lower retainers then call this guy back and ask him where they are.

I would call Web since there a dealer for Kibblewhite,
951-369-5144. The kibblewhite web site isn't really done yet.
