try the clicher spring mod and the valve cap mod

What is the valve cap mod? Tire valve stem cap on the AP rod?

I did the clicker pen spring mod, but still stumbles when I nail it.

I noticed alot of space between the rod and the lever.

Does this help?

Yes it does. Just need a valve stem cap. Makes that space go down to a few thousandths.

I didn't use a valve stem cap but a small piece of plastic tube stuck on there that wont move. Of course that was after I ripped the boot and installed a new AP assy. Totally changed the behavior when I stab it. Thanks guys.
