heys guys, what are some carb options for the warrior, ive seen the fcr39, is thr any other carbs for the warrior and prices???

how much is the mikuni 38 goin for??? and do u have to change the intake boot?? any advice is great thanks

most popular are the

mukuni 38mm rs

keihin
39mm FCR
37-38 PW series carbs

edelbrock 36mm quick silver

sunco 37mm

there are others that can be run on it im sure but these are the more popular ones.
i have ran the mukuni 38mm and the fcr, the fcr is a much better carb. i have worked with the pw carbs and they are almost identical to the RS carbs mukuni sells so i see no difference in performance other than the bore, but its really a toss up between the discontinued edelbrock and the FCR.

the main gain in performance is in the amount of air you can get in the motor, the bigger the bore the better the power but there is a difference between the carbs on were it peaks at so what are you looking for? and what kind of motor mods do you have?

ive got a 4mm crank, ported head with std valves, hot cam stroker cam, .040 over piston(10-1 i believe), heavy dudy valve springs, dyna cdi and dg full ex, is thr a boot off another atv to use the mikuni?? or shld i run a diff carb, the price of the mikuni seems nice lol

its a 379cc motor, you would see the best gains from a 39mm, the mukuni is a good carb but it has a really weak low end its mor for high rpm motors, i would sudjest the 39mm fcr or a 38mm with a accelerater pump, the fcr is a stock yfz450 carb and is a great carb for our 350s. im tuning one in on my raptor right now and its hands down nicer then my mukuni.

thats my .02 they aint cheep but worth the price!

you do need a different intake tube, let me see if i can find the one you need.

you can take a raptor 350 intake heat it and expand it to fit the fcr, you cna grind down the outside of the fcr to make it fit or you can find the impossible to find intake setup i somehow have on mine or make one with some aluminum tube and plate..

i looked everywhere i know were to look.

My intake tube came with my carb kit but I know it is no longer available anymore.
White Brothers Mikuni VM36 Carb Kit
It is an aluminum flange that bolts to the engine then it just uses a standard rubber hose between the flange and the carb.
