Hey guys got a stupid question. I screwed up this jet on my carb an wonder if this part is sold??? This appears to be what the accelerator pump feeds. Looks like its pressed in so worst case if its not available maybe I can find a old non working carb and attempt to get it out. Thanks:picstfu::argh:

Thanks I was looking at this a bunch of times and don't see that part shown separately. I might has to see if I can pick up a cheap carb some has for parts and try to get this out.

I don't think so. It doesn't have a curve like that. Not sure if that's a hose in the pic.

Maybe a carb rebuild kit will have it? Just a long shot. Would be worth looking into, anything's better than buying a new carb or an old one needing a rebuild.. $$$

Yeah I was trying look at different rebuild kits to see if maybe one of them included that part. So far no luck.

Maybe someone on this forum might have this part or a crappy old carb laying around that no longer functions?

This gets screwed up when you attempt to turn the slotted end which is inside the float bowl area. Like it said was stupid, should have left it alone and tried to clean it while in e carb. I was able to get it out with an easyout without messing the rest or the carb up.

broncbuster how much would you want for your carb? Doesn't even have to be working. Trick will be getting this part out without damaging it. Can probably heat it up.
Thanks

I have a good carb I'll sell you $100. I'll send it out already clean

Thank you I may take you up on that. I'm gonna see if this one is repairable first. Trying to keep to $$$ down since I still have to finish my cylinder bore, piston and rings. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks again....

worst case if it is not replaceable you could use his on your bike and turn yours into a spare parts carb.

I would like thank Bones for helping me out with an old carb. I was able to get the jet out by heating the body of the carb up with a propane torch and lightly tapping it out with a small piece of metal and a hammer. I blew it out with some carb cleaner and was able to line it up and lightly tap it back into my carb. I still have to get my cylinder bored, do some head work and slap this motor back together but I'm pretty sure this will work. Also if anyone does this just be sure you put it back in facing the correct way since the jet sprays from the side, not the tip.

Thanks again Bones.... You da man.

On another note I see that warrior carbs are getting expensive on ebay, anybody try those knock off carbs they are selling?
