I just decided to resurect my warrior after being in storage for over a decade and it was stored with gas in the carb. So I tore the carb apart and put a rebuild kit in it and it keeps leaking around the acellerator pump. So I bought a new float and can adjust it not to leak but it seams to be staved for fuel then. Any suggestions?

Leaking around the what?

I'm taking it, it is leaking around the accordian boot that goes over the top of the accel pump piston? Check the boot and piston really good for wear. Unfortunitly you can't buy just the boot you have to get the whole piston and spring with it and it costs something like $35. That's what I would look into. My boot is riped on one ridge but it isn't leaking and pump works good, but will prob bite the bullet and replace it before I go to hatfield.

Yes the accordian boot is no longer there I remember it tearing off years ago and ran fine without it I just must have not noticed it leaking because the side cover was concealing it. thanks for the help.
