After riding my rebuild for a couple of hours the chain broke and took a piece of the case with it. It may be too little too late but are there any case savers out there for the Warrior? I can't seem to find any. If not, will one from a Raptor work?

Should I have a chain roller with this ATV (97 Warrior). I bought it wrecked and trashed and no such part was on the machine. I need some educating.

As far as the chain goes, I had a new O-ring and don't understand why it broke. I would like to stay with an o-ring. Is there a recommended make?

^^No way in hell im paying 60 bucks for it though. Theres billet polished ones for less than that.

Noss dosn't make em for a warrior anymore. If you call them mabe they'll be able to help you out.

Denny,

Yes, we have a case saver/chain guard for the Warrior. It is $65 + shipping.

Thanks,

How much of the case did it take? How are you going to fix the case?

Glad to hear they still do offer it, they just don't have it listed anymore. Anyway it looks like this.

It broke the fixed chain guard in three pieces and put a hole about 1/4 inch wide through the case behind the top mounting bolt. I'm going the JB Weld route for now and see how that works out. I ordered the case saver from Noss and hope I don't need to "use" it.

I put a chain roller-tensioner from James Lucky on my warrior after a stick derailed my chain while backing up in a mud hole. Yea, broken case! Anyway it is a universal part and bolted up to my lower chain roller after I drilled it out. Never problem since. I JBwelded my case and it has worked for 4years and running.
