Tire balls full set..........around $800. Hedstrom play balls 120 (roughly enough to use on two full sets) $140. And if you order form them direct, not Wall-Mart or dollar general and save ¢20 per ball.

A money saving heads up.
 
I have also heard of a lot of people running sections of foam pool noodles as a substitute for tire balls.
 
The foam pool noodles break down after 6 or 8 races into a foam dust from all the friction.
 
don't know how much weight you'll be adding (a fraction of a pound if that?) It more of a solution for racers so you can keep going and finish the race if you get a puncture or the bead come loose.
 
It's an uneven rotating mass inside all four tires..... i never liked tire balls. Or hedstrom play balls haha.
