choosing the right riding boots

im trying to figure out which one is the better of the choices i have to chose from. I would like to stay under $175
1. alpinestars 07 vector boots, on sale at rmatv for $159 was $260
2. gaerne cyphor boots $99 on sale at rmatv was $200
3. alpinestars tech-3 $170
4. thor quadrant boots $140

any other suggestions are very helpful, want to be confortable and able to keep some water out just in case.

if i were you I would go to a place where you could try them on. I have alpinestar tech 7 boots that i bought off a friend for 25 bucks. the only reason i bought them was so i could get used to them and to tell if i liked them..they are good boots but the soles are a little torn up from his use..he is an A class hare scramble racer on a yz250..they have been to hell and back.

Try them all on first, they all fit and feel different. The new tech 3s are real comfy.
