Ok everyone here's my problem. While in Ky my dad had our local dealership put a new factory clutch in. To make a long story short the clutch isn't engaging until almost all the way released. My question is did the dealership not install it right or is it just some adjusting I need to do and if so give me some pointers...thanks

You can make the clutch adjust a little to give the cable more length or free play. Does the lever have any free play? Do you know how to do that?

Yea I adjusted that this morning on the perch, but it still didn't help.? 5-10 mm right?

yeah you want like 1/8" of free play until you can feel the button push on the clutch basket.
Is the lever on the case cover about 90 degrees when you start to in-gauge on the clutch?

Actually the more I think about it the more it sounds like the clutch is working ok. Mine starts to release as soon as you get past the free play and put a little tension on it.

Hmm, it just seem to engage a lot later than like on my yfz...

Yep right in the middle and easy as hell...lol

When I got to ride one I was like what the hell is this all about. Thought his clutch was going out. Just the way it is though.
I believe you're just not use to the warriors clutch.

Could be, I bought it and in like a month I bought my yfz. Maybe rode it two times since. My wife likes it and that's all that matters. I was going to get her a yfz, but she rode mine and, well let's just say she didn't like it...lol Maybe one of those new raptor 250s, I've been meaning to check them out. They seem to be pretty cool...

The raptor 250's are a sweet ride and kick the **** out of the 300ex's from what I've been reading. I bet if she is looking for something a little more nibble and up to date then that would be pretty sweet ride.

Yea she's in love so I guess for her birthday this month I'm gonna have to get her one. Looks like I'm going to be like everyone else and put mine up for sale too...lol
