whats up fellas new on here, having a hard time getting clutch cable out of the clutch lever there is some type of metal collar or something that will not allow it to come out i even tried prying it with a flat head, am i missing something or do i have to buy a new lever. trying to put motion pro cable on to replace the stock 1 thanks for any help

theres a little slot where the cable slips through the lever u need to move the cable to that spot and it should come right off.

yeh i have changed quite a few cables before but for some reason it will not come out, it seams there is some type of collar or somethong that is around the end piece that slides in the lever basically it is stuck i even tried a screw driver and a punch but it will not come out

hmmm thats strange mine have always just came right out... maybe someone else on the forum knows?

mine had that same thing. there is actully a way. you have to get it completely straight. it cannot be at an angle at all. its kinda weird. the little casing thing comes out with the led piece. i just left it off cuz it was a pain in the ass

Since your replacing your cable anyway I'd just get an atfermarket lever and diconect the ebrake. Lever from the yami dealer is only like 20

thanks for all the help drift king was right its a cap or something that covers the lead end of cable i finally got it out with a hammer screw dricer and pliers, thanks again for the help
