clutch cover gasket

I have my clutch cover off . I am adding a oil cooler. The gasket is a little beat up. Do I need to replace it or can I just use gasket sealer? If sealer is the answer. What type.

you can try sealer... its either going to work or its not... depends on how bad the gasket is... i believe i used some sealer around the dowels where my gasket ripped, its not leaking so i musta done something right hahaha

new gasket is like $10. spend the money then you wont have to worry about it.
