Whats up? question? I think i need to replace my clutch, what kit do u guys recommend and is it very difficult to do myself? I have a 2000 warrior.

It's not a hard install to do. Just takes a few tools and a couple hours.

I used the EBC clutch when I did mine, and it's been over 2 years of hard riding and it's still strong. I would stay away from the tusk brand clutch, some people have good luck but others have problems with it slipping from the day they install it. There are other clutches out there that may be better than the EBC, but I don't see a reason to spend more when a cheaper one works just fine. You will also need to get a new cover gasket when you do the replacement, I would recommend either Cometic or Vesrah for something that's cheap and good quality.

Whatever you decide on, I would suggest adding one of your old steel plates to the stack of new plates to add a little thickness. This gives the clutch a little more pressure and keeps the pressure plate from bottoming out before the friction pads are worn down.

Thanks I was looking at the EBC on Ebay so I will go with that brand. You said I need some tools which ones? Is there a tutorial on how to install here? I am still working on the stator but this is my next project any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mauro

Aside from regular hand tools you will need an impact wrench, torque wrench, and a big socket for the big nut that holds the clutch assembly in place. I think it's a 34mm but i'm not positive. I can check and make sure if you want me to.

If you don't have an impact wrench there are other ways to go about this, but the impact wrench makes it much quicker and pain-free.

Hi I have the same Question but I have a 1998 Warrior 350. Is the EBC the recommended brand? First time clutch replacement :-/

EBC makes the best for the money, that or OEM. EBC will last longer. Also do some searching and read about the extra clutch plate install.

Thank you Deadlastracing.
I appreciate the input and will do some additional research on the extra clutch plate install.

i have the EBC clutch and springs and have had it for 4 years now. i run full synthetic Amsoil oil (0w-40) which some say will make a clutch wear out faster, but i have not had a problem with it at all. I am very pleased with this clutch.
