It's not a hard install to do. Just takes a few tools and a couple hours.
I used the EBC clutch when I did mine, and it's been over 2 years of hard riding and it's still strong. I would stay away from the tusk brand clutch, some people have good luck but others have problems with it slipping from the day they install it. There are other clutches out there that may be better than the EBC, but I don't see a reason to spend more when a cheaper one works just fine. You will also need to get a new cover gasket when you do the replacement, I would recommend either Cometic or Vesrah for something that's cheap and good quality.
Whatever you decide on, I would suggest adding one of your old steel plates to the stack of new plates to add a little thickness. This gives the clutch a little more pressure and keeps the pressure plate from bottoming out before the friction pads are worn down.
