either your cable is stretching. or your clutch is wearing out. Either way were the clutch cable pulls on an arm that goes into the case there should be some nuts you can move to adjust the cable pull there. but seeing as its a 2002 I doubt your cable is stretching unless you recently had on installed. so I'm guessing its the clutch wearing out but you should have a decent amount of ride time I'm guessing. Unless the clutch is already slipping then you should probably replace it.
