So I do not know what is going on with this thing when i start my warrior up, let it get warmed up and everything, I pull the clutch then put it in reverse and it just takes off in reverse like I dont even have the clutch pulled in, but I do. Then if you rev it a little while moving in reverse and pull the clutch a few times it will all start working like it should. It only does this if it sets over night, it will NOT do it if I ride for a little bit then stop for a while then go to ride again, it works just fine then. So is it just an adjustment that I need to make? Thanks

eh your clutch basket has got grooves worn in it... theres not much you can do about it besides A) deal with it or b) get a new basket.... i choose to deal with it.... what happens is the basket get grooves ore in it for the disks tapping 345987456 times on it and then the they like to stick in the grooves they made and not spread apart(release)

yep mine tends to do that when ever the gravitational pull of the moon is strong enough. it doesnt do it all the time but does it frequently. it works for me and im not worried about it so im not going to spend the ton of money or bother taking it apart just to do that. but it is something warriors tend to do.

or you can pull it apart and file the groves out of the basket... but make sure you just file enough to get the groves out, and make sure you file them even!!!! and make sure you get all of them...

i'm a fan of filing the grooves out with a big ass file lol... i did it on my CR250 and it's still holding up and it's been like 2 years since i did it. i've done it on alot of other bikes too

When you filed the groves out it did stop doing what mine is doing right?

it'll wear the grooves back in over time and it wont take as long as it did the first time and it works better on things w/o reverse but it'll buy you some time till you can pay for that freakin expensive new basket.
and yes it did stop what yours is doing now

Mine did the same thing at times, wet clutches tend to stick once they get worn a little. If you hold the back brake when you put it into gear it should break it loose without rolling anywhere, that's what I did with mine and it never gave me any other trouble.

Alright good idea^ because now if it is in reverse moving backwards and i cant stop it with the clutch because it is not "hooking up" and i hit the brake it will just die (of coarse) but i have some parts that should be coming in either tomorrow or Thursday ill put that stuff on then try it the way you said yamarider.
