Well after finally getting my warrior together and taking it out on Saturday, I think it needs a clutch. It seemed to slip and take its time to fully grab (either that or these things are lazy compared to my yz-f). Anyway I am going to start shopping for the clutch since its probably the original anyway (from 93) and am curious what everyone is running? I know there are only a few that are worth while for the yz-f's and you can never go wrong with stock. What about for the warrior?

The only clutch you need to stay away from is the cheap ass Tusk clutch. All the others work fine. Stock, EBC, Barnett, DP, Vesrah, all will get the job done fine.

And a warrior will be very lazy compared to a yz-f, you're comparing a light bike to a 400 pound tank of a sport quad.

Look back into the tutorials section and research the extra steel plate in the clutch pack before you do anything with it.

this is my opinion, but i have the EBC with the heavier springs and i am really pleased with it, no complaints. but as yamarider said, i want to do the extra steel plate next time i have the clutch cover off.

I prefer the stock clutch with HD springs and an extra steel plate. DP is probably the best aftermarket, but also the most expensive. I run the stock clutch plates in my 446 with HD springs and an extra steel.
