well my warrior engine was vibrating and moving in the frame alot, so i went and took a look. Both mounts that are on the head to the frame were completley snapped off. The only good thing is that they bolt onto the frame, so i can replace them easy. my question is would it be a good idea to weld 2 together for extra strength?

weld the old ones or new ones? if u get new ones you should be fine just make sure there tight and that the other ones are tight...

Yea mine are trashed too but I've been to lazy to replace them. I can't see why you couldn't do that, but I would just reinforce them with some steel instead of another mount, it'll be cheaper that way.

There shouldn't be any reason to reinforce them, they're not a load bearing piece to begin with. If you broke them then something else is wrong... like your lower mounts, the ones that actually support the motor, are loose. I never once broke an upper motor mount, and I landed bumper-first in a pile of big rocks at 30 mph... if that isn't enough stress on the frame and mounts than I don't know what is.

yea thats what i figured, it had been vibrating a little bit for a while, then it got really bad, and the engine was twisting in the frame, and the upper ones were broken and the front lower one was loose

Same here, and most Warriors I have seen have stress cracked upper head mounts. Nothing else is wrong with your bike, they just weren't designed very well. Easy fix, weld a washer to the outside of each side of the mount (2 washers). Cheap, easy, much stronger than factory.

o yea thats what we did to mine...u need 4 washers at the correct size and just sandwich the new washers over where the bolt would go through and use like a vise grip to hold and start welding a bead in between the washers...think of it as an oreo...lol the washers are the black cookies and the weld is the creme inside...lmao,but thats wut i had to do and it worked great
