After I cut a hole in the lit of my airbox, the warrior wont idle without the choke being on. IIRC its the Pilot jet that is the problem, but I'm not sure, thats why im here asking you guys :)

Thanks!

yes the pilot jet does have to do with the idle have you cleaned the carb? if not start there

Yup I cleaned it and rejetted it, and it ran great, then I decided to cut a hole in the box, now it wont idle unless the choke is on.

Also, i forgot to mention, I took the Dial-a-Jet off because it was causing problems, thats how it all started.

Dial-a-jet was making it run like crap, so i took it off and jetted it manually, ran great for a bit, then I decided to cut the box off, now it wont idle without choke.

Usually if it won't idle without the choke then the pilot jet is plugged. You need to run a tiny wire through it because just blowing through it is not enough.

sometimes a second cleaning is all it needs do you have a inline filter between the tank and carb?

get one and I would pull the petcock off the tank and clean the screen also

Sounds like a good Idea.

So, say I do all of this and it still wont idle or go 1/4 throttle without dying, would i need to jet up or down?

(I forgot to mention the throttle part, If i give it a little throttle (about to 1/4 throttle) it will bog and try to die.)

make sure the accelerator pump is working

What, and where is that?

###EDIT###

Nevermind, i know where it is.

Should it move up and down or something?

take the side plastic black cover off the carb and you'll be able to see it work when you push the throttle it only moves a little but make sure it's freely moving

when you cleaned the carb did you remember to put the accelerator pump spring back in the spot in the bowl?

yup, everything is back together normally, Like i said it was working great before i cut the hole in the air box

I would re-clean the pilot jet and see if that helps what size pilot did you put in?and what exhaust you running?

by opening the air box up your allowed more air to come in. Your mixture could be off or you are to lean now.

I dont remember off the top of my head what pilot jet i have, I dont even think I changed the pilot jet.

Ive got an FMF powerbomb with the Quiet Pipe 4
