Sounds to me like it just needs to be re-jetted. You to lean is my guess. Up you pilot to 45 (one up from stock 42.5) and then take your main up on or two from stock is my guess. (as long as you boot isn't cracked and everything else is ok)

I took my pilot up to 45, and my main is a 135 ( Its been jetted up for a while I just now did my pilot ) and now its running rich as hell
:eek:hno:

But i dont need the choke on anymore! :p now what >_>

stock main is supposed to be a 145
Like i said, im not sure exactly what main jet it is, but im at very high altitude ~9k

Just wondering why it would go from running so lean it wont run without choke, to super super rich with 1 jet size

cause you upped the pilot which controls the idle
the main mid throttle and the needle jet is wot

I know what the jets do, what I dont get is why would it go from running just fine, not lean or rich when the air box lid was intact. Then I cut a part the air box lid, then it ran so lean it wouldn't idle without the choke on. Now that ive upped the pilot jet, it idles just fine, but now its super rich.
