Hey i was just messing around out in the shop last night and i had an extra reverse shifter so i started experimenting......... so what i have now is pretty much a direct reverse lever its just a little bracket i fabed up wit a solid steel bar welded to it. ill have to take a pic and post it so yall can see and it works fine.

yeah im curious to see this to... i would think to make it direct on the shaft coming out of the case you would have to really reach around and burn yourself on the pipe... seems kinda like the linkage would be a better idea but maybe im missing something

I don't see the purpose in it either. It's not like the reverse linkage causes any problems like the shift linkage does, and the lever has a locking detent in it for a reason, to keep it from slipping out of gear. If it's not locked into place it WILL slip out of gear.

well it may not be that good idea i guess but it used to be hard to put in reverse

If you know how to put it in reverse and take it out... the warrior has the easiest to use and fastest reverse system out there. I know what you mean when you say its hard.. but there are tricks to make it easy... a little feather of the clutch and its like butter

ya idk i just didnt ever like all the stupid stuff like the stock shifter and reverse lever

Well i finally figured out how to post pics so here is what Ive done with the reverse shifter.
