direct shifter for warrior with pull start?

hey guys doing a rebuild and i was wondering which direct shifter would fit a warrior with the pull start?

Fish22 - Did you ever find one that fit around the pull start? The one you listed from e-bay is the same one I was looking at but I saw a red one.

i think you can take a yz one and bend it out more

will aluminum bend without breaking?

mine did i bent mine at the track then bent it back just make sure to put a little heat on it

Thanks guys. I read up on the YZ thread and will likely go that direction. I would like to see if I can actually start the machine with the pull chord as it is what is in the way. Oh well, I can do that in 3-4 months when my knee is stronger. For now, I have a new starter and a new battery. Just want a backup for being in the woods.

I looked around for a good while and came up kinda empty handed....I didnt feel like tring a bunch of diff 10-20 dollar shifters till i got it right... I remembered seeing someone make one out of a stock shifter on here b4 so i went that way too ... have not tried it yet but feels pretty good sitting on it...

The gap between the shifter and the foot peg is pretty small. what size shoe do you wear?

13 haha .. i lined it up with the stock one..moved it up a spline or two tho

i did the same thing i made one out of my stocker , although it is much ezer to shift i still find it hard to get into neutral after the motor is hot , wonder if the oil cooler mod would help this problem
