besides stock..

Me and my friends have an old warrior rolling chassis and we wanted to make something out of it. We don't want to put a stock motor in it, but we do want something that will fit easily. We were thinking about a old blaster engine, but there a smaller cc.

Any suggestions? We are looking for something with not A HUGE amount of modifications to get it to fit. Something just like moving the motor mounts, not raising the frame or something.

Why would you want to go through the trouble to put a blaster engine in? The Warrior engine has much more power.

A blaster motor would suck, it has less torque and power, plus it's a 2-stroke. The warrior is a heavy machine, that little 2-stroke would just die. Honestly any motor swap will need a good deal of mods, you're best off just looking around for a motor that's about the same size.

Bro a Blaster weighs 325 LBS wet a Warrior even with a Blaster engine is going to weigh 375LBS. Everything is going to require fabrication.

I have also thought about puting a diferent motor in my warrior. I like a 2 stroke and thought about puting my rm250 motor in it. It would be cool to see someone to do something like this. I thing you sould do the hybrid build instead of puting a warrior motor in it.

My brother is in the process of installing a Kaw liquid cooled 250 engine into a Yam XT350 (air cooled) chassis.
It sure looks simple enough befor you start, but holy **** have we ever done a lot of fabrication so far.
No to try intermix the wiring harnesses and electrical accessories to make everything function.
Way too much work, too late to turn back though.

Originally he was quoted $2g for engine rebuild on the 350.
We coulda/shoulda bought just parts for $1G, rebuilt the engine and sold the Kawi to cover the costs.
Hindsite is always 20/20
