Can you convert a Edelbrock twist throttle carb to a thumb throttle? Found a new one for cheap but its a twist.

I'm just looking for some way too. Kit, modyfing, whatever. Auction ends in 7 hours.

Didnt even think about calling Edelbrock. I'll do that later. I'm out to put on my new tie rods.

How do I put in pictures? I have my memory card in but forgot how to do them.

I know that the thumb and twist edelbrocks have 2 diffrent cable wheels to open them up i dont know if it makes a diffrence or not.. The twist throttle is safer than the thumb which is a plus.

Honestly twist throttle isn't bad, just takes some getting used to. It's horrible for rough trails though, everything else is fine. If it's a good price, I say just go for it.

Does anone know anything I can do? I really want the thumb.

The second link I posted has pics of mine.

Your the first person I have ever heard of that thinks a twist is safer than a thumb..

Yea I can't see how it's safer, it's so much easier to accidentally gas it. I almost ran into a tree once because I hit a big bump with the right wheel. The right side of the bars went up and I went near WOT because I didn't change my wrist angle.
